The Macular Society is a national charity which provides practical and emotional support for people with macular degeneration, which is the most common form of sight loss in the UK. It also funds research to find a cure and improve current treatments.

The Bexley Group of the Macular Society offers support and companionship for people with macular degeneration. At our monthly meetings we arrange for speakers to give advice and information on matters to do with sight loss, and also other topics which may be of interest to our members. At one or two meetings a year we have entertainers instead of a speaker. We also arrange one or two outings a year to places which are suitable for our members.
